SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mercaptosilanes. Claimed is blocked mercaptosilane of general formula (HO)2R1-Si-Z-S-C(=O)-A, where R1 is monovalent hydrocarbon radical, selected from alkyls, linear or branched, containing from 1 to 18 carbon atoms; A is hydrogen or monovalent hydrocarbon radical, selected from alkyls, linear or branched, cycloalkyls or aryls, containing from 1 to 18 carbon atoms; Z is bivalent binding group, containing from 1 to 18 carbon atoms and not containing heteroatoms. Also claimed is method of obtaining said mercaptosilane and versions of its application as binding agent.
EFFECT: claimed mercaptosilanes make it possible to obtain enhanced rubber compositions with better processability, not inclined to early vulcanisation.
