FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing filter charge for process filters for treating water includes crushing sedimentary rock and firing in high-speed conditions. The sedimentary rock used is limestone which contains calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, organic impurities, clay inclusions and quartz.
EFFECT: high sorption capacity and wider range of extracted elements of the filter charge.
