FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: burning of a natural carbonate raw material is carried out in a high-speed mode at a rate of 25-30°C a minute for 20-25 minutes. After that, chemical processing is performed in two stages, first with a solution containing ions of bivalent manganese, and then with a sodium hypochlorite solution. As the raw material used is limestone, containing (wt %): calcium carbonate 79-84, magnesium carbonate 1-3, organic admixtures 3-4, argillaceous inclusions 5-11, quartz 4-6.
EFFECT: increased sorption capability of the charge and reduction of energy consumption in its manufacturing.
