FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to oxygen-converter process. Proposed process comprises withdrawal of gas formed at metal blow in converter, its cooling and cleaning in scrubber with Venturi tubes, accumulating and averaging in gas-holder, after-cleaning in wet filter to dust concentration of 10 mg/m3. Cooled and cleaned converter gas is fed gas mixing station. At a time coke oven has is diverted from coke dry quenching chamber. After cooling and dust removal chemical separation of coking products is performed to get reverse coke gas. The latter is fed to short-cycle adsorption unit to extract hydrogen therefrom at variable pressure. Hydrogen is fed to aforesaid gas mixing chamber for it to be mixed with converter gas with the ratio of (0.50-0.65):1.
