FIELD: treatment of waste.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to methods for recycling solid household and industrial waste. The method for environmentally sustainable recycling of solid household waste at a multi-fuel power complex includes recycling organic waste resulting in biogas and humus, and recycling the molten slag into heat insulation materials. The solid household waste is received at a multi-fuel power complex separately at the site for receiving and preparing organic and inorganic waste. Inorganic waste is recycled after grinding at a plasma-chemical recycling plant, and the resulting fuel, biogas, and synthesis gas are used at a thermal power plant to produce thermal energy and electricity. Apparatus for recycling solid household waste includes an organic matter recycling set, a plasma-chemical recycling set, a molten slag recycling set, a biogas purification unit, a CO2 processing unit, a carbon dioxide production unit, and a catalytic processing unit. The apparatus is equipped with a gas holder for accumulating methane-hydrogen fuel and a gas holder for accumulating low-grade fuel, a gas distribution point of the power plant, a synthesis gas purification and separation unit, and a fuel preparation unit. The outputs of the synthesis gas purification and separation unit and the gas distribution point of the power plant herein are linked with the input of the fuel preparation unit, the output whereof is linked with the gas holder for accumulating methane-hydrogen fuel, and the outputs of the gas holder for accumulating low-grade fuel, the gas holder for accumulating methane-hydrogen fuel, and the gas distribution point of the power plant are linked with the input of the thermal power plant.

EFFECT: transfer of part of the power equipment of traditional thermal power plants to combined fuel combustion, use of renewable power sources at a thermal power plant, and reduction of hazardous atmospheric emissions.
