FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a charcoal-containing plastic packing material and a method for production thereof. As a result of containing charcoal, the material has functional properties such as suppressing putrefactive bacteria, absorbing pollutant particles and smells, emitting far-infrared radiation and anions, and preventing the generation of static electricity. The disclosed material has thickness of 0.01-0.11 mm and blends a given amount of charcoal powder with a polymer resin. The invention provides a method of producing a plastic packing material, in which the particle size, the amount used for resin, and the particle size uniformity of charcoal powder to be mixed with the resin are controlled in accordance with the thickness of the plastic packing material to be formed.

EFFECT: plastic packing material solves problems caused by the immiscibility of charcoal and resin due to deficiencies in mechanical properties, an aggregation phenomenon, foreign body sensation, defective forms, and poor quality.
