FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an anti-reflective film for photovoltaic arrays. Anti-reflective film comprising polymeric particles having: (a) not less than 70 % polymerised residues of acrylic monomers; (b) an average particle diameter of 0.75 to 15 mcm; and (c) a refractive index that changes continuously from the centre of the particles to the surface; and a continuous polymeric phase comprising not less than 85 % by weight of a polyolefin, the polyolefin comprising polymers or copolymers of alkenes having from 2 to 8 carbon atoms, where the average difference in refractive indices of polymeric particles and the continuous polymeric phase, measured in the range from 400 to 800 nm, is no more than 0.02.
EFFECT: obtaining an anti-reflective film suitable for manufacturing photovoltaic arrays.
