FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: dural structures are mobilised within the posterior surface of vertebral bodies in the cranial and caudal direction of an operated intervertebral disk. Posterior bone overgrowths or posterior limbs of the vertebral bodies adhered to the dural structures are cut off en bloc from the adjacent vertebral bodies. The dural structures are taken away in the medial direction, and the anterior surface of the dural sac is decompressed.
EFFECT: method provides adequate and less traumatic mobilisation of the dural sac and spinal root cuffs.
