FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device for measurement of linear dimensions comprises a ruler-rod with divisions, a jaw fixed relative to the ruler-rod, a frame moving relative to the ruler rod, at the same time a movable jaw is rigidly fixed with this frame, which moves relative to the ruler-rod as the frame is displaced relative to the ruler-rod, for smooth movement of the frame along the ruler-rod there is a micrometric device, comprising a buckle, a clamp and a nut of micrometric feed, besides, on the movable frame there is a stop screw, besides, the movable and fixed jaws on their ends have lengthy sections, the side surface of which is formed by means of movement along the closed circuit of the straight line that remains parallel to itself, besides, this straight line is arranged in parallel to the plane, in which there is a face side of the ruler-rod with divisions and normally to the edge of the face side of the ruler-rod, differing by the fact that the device is equipped with a set of additional rulers from elastic material, besides, in the free (non-stretched) condition additional rulers have even scales with divisions, applied at different scale, different scales may match with the linear size equal to 1 mm, other additional rulers have scales with smaller divisions, or with larger divisions, besides, additional rulers are equipped with accessories for fixation of them on the ends of movable and fixed jaws of the device, these accessories are made, for instance, in the form of a bulge near each end of the additional ruler and holes in these bulges, at the same time movable and fixed jaws are inserted into these holes, and by moving the movable jaw, they stretch the additional ruler to the necessary size.
EFFECT: provision of convenience in processing of graphic data and assessment of distances by area maps of inconvenient scale.
