SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for investigation of deformation processes of rubber-like materials at temperature change. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that a circular sample is used, that is sample is in form of torus. Sample is placed in a vertical plane. Sample is squeezed between flat surfaces that are parallel or almost parallel in operating condition. One of the surfaces is located horizontally and represents part of part surface fixedly fixed on the base, the other surface is part of the part flat surface fixed on the movable lever. Sample of the analysed material is placed in a vertical plane parallel to the axis of rotation of the lever, close to the zone of hinged attachment of this lever to posts rigidly attached to the base. At the other end of this lever, weight is weighed, mass of which is selected so that lever would be close to horizontal position. When the temperature is changed, displacement of this end of the lever is measured, wherein before changing temperature of the sample, the sample is held in a loaded state at a constant load for more than a day. Lifting operation is defined by expression A = m × g × ΔU, where m (kg) is load weight; ΔU (m) is value of cargo lifting; g = 9.81 m/s2 is acceleration of free fall.
EFFECT: technical result is enabling analysis of features of deformation of rubber-like materials when temperature changes using annular samples (that is, samples in form of torus).
