FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring devices, intended primarily for measuring the thickness of spokes and lintels of box-section wheel centers of railway rolling stock. The device for measuring the geometric parameters of the box-section wheel centers includes a bracket connected to a ruler on which horizontal scales are applied on both sides to measure the thickness of the spokes of the box-section wheel center with an upper measurement limit of 80 mm and to measure the thickness of the lintel of the box-section wheel center with an upper measurement limit of 55 mm, a movable frame, made with the possibility of moving along a ruler and having a scale with a scale division of 0.1 mm on both sides, a rotary rod located on a movable frame, to ensure that the measuring device goes behind the spoke of the box-section wheel center and measures the thickness of the lintel, a retractable rod that makes it possible to change the measuring range of the device from 0 to 80 mm and from 0 to 55 mm, and three mounting screws located on the ruler, bracket and movable frame.
EFFECT: reduction in labor intensity when performing visual and measuring control.
