FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: composition for hydrophobisation of porous building materials contains glacial acetic acid, synthetic rubber, dissolved in an organic solvent, and as synthetic rubber used is silicone low-molecular rubber of cold vulcanisation, and as the organic solvent - nefras (petroleum solvent), with the following component ratio, wt %: the said rubber 2-4, glacial acetic acid 0.2-0.7, nefras - the remaining part.

EFFECT: reduction of water absorption, increased depth of penetration of the composition for hydrophobisation into the porous material, increased strength of its adhesion to the material, preservation of the material colour and texture.
