FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: valve comprises a body with coaxial branch pipes 1 and 2, slide valve 4, rod 5, travel bushing 6 and control assembly 7. Branch pipe 1 on the side of feeding the working medium under the slide valve is made with a smaller length, with small inclination angle and bigger inner diameter as compared with the similar parameters of branch pipe 2 on the side of feeding the working medium to the slide valve. Slot 3 is made inside branch pipe 1 in its upper part. The length of branch pipe 2 on the side of feeding the working medium to slide valve 4 will increase so that the value of the delivery length of valve body L (for particular diameter of nominal diameter) remains constant L=l1+l2.
EFFECT: decreased coefficient of resistance for shut-off and non-return valves for increase of nominal flow characteristics for control valves, for decreasing hydraulic losses in the system, where the valves will be installed, which will help use less powerful pumps.
