FIELD: pipeline accessories.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline fittings and is intended for use in the designs of shut-off and control valves in the oil, gas, chemical, energy and other industries. The rotary valve contains a body with coaxial nozzles, a gate consisting of two spool valves with profile channels, each of which is made in the form of a smooth transition from a round hole to a sector hole in the contact zone of the spool valves, while the cross-sectional area of the mentioned channels along their length is the same, a spindle with a flywheel and a bevel gear at the end interacting with two gear rings transmitting torque to two spool valves, moreover, when the spindle rotates due to a bevel gear, two gear rings and two spool rotate in different directions, changing the area of the flow section of the valve, while in order to ensure a small coefficient of hydraulic resistance equal to no more than 0.3, it is necessary to perform the length L of the gate equal to two diameters of the circular opening of the channel.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at creating a rotary valve with a small coefficient of hydraulic resistance instead of two: a shut-off valve and a control valve while ensuring a high service life and maintainability.
