FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gantry loaders. The gantry loader contains frame (10) having virtually parallel opposite sides (12,14), and configuration which permits to grasp container from both sides. The loader has three running wheels (24, 26) and (28) permitting to locate frame over container. Running wheels include the first running wheel (24) located approximately at the centre on one side (12) of frame, as well as the second and the third running wheels (26, 28) located at opposite edges of other side (14) of frame. The second and the third wheels (26, 28) are capable to change direction by turning around their virtually vertical axes (40, 42).
EFFECT: simplification of design, high manoeuvrability and stability of loader operation.
