FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for capturing, moving and placing large cargo, in particular, large-sized bulk modules. The portal conveyor contains support posts (1), each of which is connected at one end to the corresponding wheel pair (2), having a drive and made with the possibility of rotation around a vertical axis in opposite directions, and at its other end connected to the carrier frame (4), having two parallel longitudinal bearing beams (5) and two transverse beams (6). At least three overhead cranes (8) are installed on the bearing beams (5) by their opposite ends for movement along the beams. Winches (11) are installed on each overhead crane (8), as well as trolleys (10) that can be moved along the overhead crane (8). Each winch (11) has a cable connected to the corresponding trolley (10) and connected to a twist lock (12) for engagement with the load (9). The conveyor also contains a control cabin (15), a power supply unit and a generator set.
EFFECT: ensuring the possibility of fast, omnidirectional and highly manoeuvrable movement of cargo over an unlimited area while increasing the accuracy of cargo positioning and maintaining its quality due to the absence of distortions during its transportation, positioning and placement.
