FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: luminophore based on bivadanate of caesium zinc CsZnVO4 additionally contains oxides of cerium and samarium and has the composition, wt %: CsZnVO4 99.94-99.98; Sm2O3 0.03-0.01; CeO2 0.03-0.01. First stoichiometric quantities of Cs2CO3 and V2O5 are mixed. The mixture is thoroughly mixed in ethanol, alloyed at 680°C for 1 h. The obtained cake CsVO3 is milled in the ball mill. ZnO, CeO2 and Sm2O3 are added to the milled product, thoroughly mixed in ethanol and alloyed at 880°C for 3 h.
EFFECT: obtained luminophore has white light, close to the spectrum of sunlight, is not hygroscopic, is heat resistant, and does not contain expensive europium oxide.
