METHOD OF STEP-BY-STEP OBTAINING ANTI-ICING FLUID WITH THICKENING AGENT Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC C09K3/18

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to obtaining anti-icing fluid (AIF), which possesses properties of removing snow-ice deposits (SID) from the surface of aircraft and providing long-term (up to 12 hours) anti-icing protection of AC in conditions of ground icing. Method of step-by-step obtaining of anti-icing liquid based on propyleneglycol with thickening agent includes at the first stage loading of propyleneglycol 47.0-52.0 wt.p., water 16.0-20.3 wt.p. and complexant hydroxyethylethylenediaminetriacetic sodium 0.11-0.21 wt.p., their mixing in rotor mixer with frequency 50-60 Hz for 15-20 minutes after loading of components. At the second stage added is corrosion inhibitor tolyltriazole or 1,2,3-benzotriazole 0.12-0.22 wt.p. and SAS oxyethylated nonylphenol or ethoxylated octylphenol 0.12-0.25 wt.p. with mixture mixing at frequency 50-60 Hz and circulation at frequency 20 Hz for 30-35 minutes. At the third stage thickening agent 10.5-14.0 wt.p. is loaded into mixer by pump of “НЦ”-1 model at frequency 10 Hz, entire mixture is mixed at 50-60 Hz and subjected to circulation at frequency 10-40 Hz for 60-65 minutes after pumping. At the fourth stage mixture is mixed at 50-60 Hz with circulation at 10-40 Hz for 45-50 minutes after loading of water 16.117-21.348 wt.p., dye 0.002 -0.003 wt.p. and pH stabiliser potassium hydroxide and/or sodium hydroxide 0.10-0.20 wt.p. At the fifth stage corrosion inhibitor tolyltriazole or 1,2,3-benzotriazole 0.4-0.5 wt.p. is added and mixture is mixed at 50-60 Hz for 30-35 minutes after circulation, with error of loading of propyleneglycol and water quantity ± 0.2% and other components ± 1%. In order to correct quality additional mixing of mixture is performed. As dye 0.0004-0.0008 chrome anthraquinone green 125 and 0.0016-0.0022 yellow 3G and/or yellow G is taken.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase time of anti-icing protection.
