SUBSTANCE: method is proposed to determine error of a double-stage float gyroscope, including installation of a gyroscope on a fixed base, switching on into a feedback mode of an angle sensor - an amplifier - a converter - a torque sensor, start of a gyromotor, heating of a gyroscope, measurement of current in a circuit of a feedback torque sensor, definition of gyroscope error. The gyroscope is heated to temperature determined in accordance with the minimum value of current difference as measured in the circuit of the feedback torque sensor in two positions of static balance of a gyrochamber, which it accordingly takes after diversion around the axis of the bracket to one and other sides by angles 2÷10 ang. min, at fixed values of gyroscope temperature, measured in the range Ti=(Test+idT)°C, where Test - estimated temperature value, dT=1°C - discrecity of temperature change, -3≤i≤3.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of determination of error in a double-stage float gyroscope.
