FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: polyacrylamide hydrogel polymer powder is embedded into the soil, modified by ionising gamma radiation to the absorbed dose of 3.0-7.0 kGy, followed by stabilisation by water and drying at a temperature of 60-70°C, at that the dispersed particles of the resulting polymer hydrogel, having indicators viscoelastic properties: modulus of elasticity 20.0-23.07 Pa, dynamic viscosity 3000-3754 Pa at a shear rate of 2.0-2.6-10-4 s-1, at water absorption of the particles up to 1000 ml per 1 g of the polymer, are embedded into the soil in an amount of 50-300 kg per 1 hectare. In the powder composition of the polymer hydrogel the micronutrients are additionally added either in stabilisation by treatment with an aqueous solution of the micro-fertilisers or by sputtering of powder micro-fertilisers to stabilised particles of the polymer.
EFFECT: increase in water capacity of the polymer hydrogel, increase in water-retaining properties, improved air exchange, increase in resistance to water of soil aggregates in the decrease in the amount of polymer hydrogel per hectare of soil, increase in crop yield.
