FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pigment for light-reflecting coatings. Pigment contains mixture of titanium dioxide particle of micron sizes with zirconium dioxide nanoparticles. Concentration of zirconium dioxide nanoparticles is selected in the range from 0.5 to 5.0 wt %. Mixture is mixed with addition of distilled water, then, obtained solution is evaporated for 6 hours at 150°C, heated for 2 hours at 800°C, and crushed.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase resistance to impact of radiations.
