SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in space equipment, construction, in the chemical, food and light industry. A pigment for light-reflecting coatings contains a mixture of zirconium dioxide particles with the average size of 3 mcm and nanoparticles of zirconium dioxide with the size of 30-40 nm. Concentration of zirconium dioxide particles constitutes 5-7 wt %.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the radiation resistance of the pigment.
