FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to selection of mineralogical composition of heat-resistant stone casting for operation under conditions of higher temperatures 250-900°C, which can be used at enterprises of metallurgical, chemical, ore mining and processing, power and other fields of industry. On diagram "albite-anortite-diopside" (Al-An-Di) in the field 1300-Di-1300°C figurative point of composition of heat-resistant stone casting is selected, quantitative content of components SiO2, Al2O3, CaO, MgO, Na2O is selected on the diagram in said point and selection of appropriate industrial mineralogical composition is performed. After that, recalculation is carried out with quantitative combination of free Fe2O3 with Al2O3, and TiO2, MnO, FeO with MgO, and after that, with application of specified quantitative content of SiO2, Al2O3, CaO, MgO, Na2O determined are: figurative point on the diagram, quantitative content of SiO2, Al2O3, CaO, MgO, Na2O in said point, with further estimation of corresponding it physical-mechanical parameters: for points, located in the field of diagram Al-An-Di above the liquidus line 1300-1300°C, composition can be used in production, for points below liquidus line 1300-1300°C it is necessary to select new industrial composition.
EFFECT: more accurate selection of stone casting compositions with preliminarily specified characteristics and account of admixtures, present in raw materials.
