FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: automated shifting system in manual fixed-ratio transmission consists of a number of identical devices equal to number of synchromesh clutches. Each of the devices consists of DC motor rigidly connected with mechanical reduction gear pivotally installed on transmission casing and using retractable rod pivotally connected with gear shifting lever contacting with plate capable to reciprocate and provided with longitudinal groove through which using pin it is movably connected with casing and pivotally coupled with fork rotatably installed in transmission casing. Automated gear shifting system in manual transmission also contains electronic control unit electrically connected with DC motors, transmission input and output speed sensors and retractable rod encoders. Gear selection function is performed using electronic control unit by selecting one or another DC motor and direction of its rotation, thus eliminating need of special gear selection mechanism typical for similar devices.

EFFECT: simplified design, higher reliability and operation speed of device.
