FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric traction means, particularly, to trolleybus collector bars. Current collector bar comprises metallic pipe connected with fibre glass, insert and current collector arranged at fibre glass pipe free end. Current conducting cable extends inside metal and glass fibre pipes. Insert is composed of coaxial pipes, one being fixed inside fibre glass pipe to extend partially there from. Second pipe is arranged coaxially with the first one and fixed with extending part by thread joint. For connection of the cable to current collector the plate-like holder is used extending inside second pipe and along its axis. One end of the holder is secured to current collector holder. Opposite end of the holder whereto cable is connected enters the insert pipe first cavity. Current collector holder is arranged at insert second pipe and fixed thereat by plug-in connector to prevent unforeseen disconnection of current collector from fibre glass pipe.

EFFECT: direct electric power transfer from collector to cable to decrease the circuit electric resistance.
