SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for preparation of beverages from food ingredients supplied in a capsule into the device. The device (50) for preparation of a beverage from a food product in the capsule (24) by way of liquid supplying into the capsule (24) inserted into the device (50) includes a dispensing head (20) containing the first and the second closing elements (10a, 10b) limiting the cavity (25) for the capsule (24) placement and a closing mechanism (1) for actuation of at least one (10a) of the closing elements (10a, 10b) for ensuring their relative movement between the cavity (25) opened and closed positions with the capsule placed therein; the closing mechanism (1) contains blocking elements (13), a lever (21) and means (11) for force attenuation for the lever (21) motion conversion into relative movement of the closing elements (10a, 10b); the blocking elements (13) are represented by a pin-and-leverage mechanism connected to at least one of the closing elements (10a, 10b); the force attenuation means (11) are designed so that to enable change of transfer ratio in the closing mechanism (1) between the lever (21) and at least one (10a) of the closing elements (10a, 10b); the force attenuation means (11) contains a rocker mechanism (11a, E) including a groove (11a) connecting the lever (21) and a shoulder of (11b) the lever of the pin-and-leverage mechanism (13).

EFFECT: development of a device ensuring closing in a simpler way as well as allowing to reduce the lever angular way to perform opening/closing in a simpler way and with the help of as few manipulations as possible.
