FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: water is poured into reactor to load NC and returned process wastes of previous operations thereto. Ethyl acetate, a solvent, is added thereto at mixing to add diphenylamine thereto to prepare powder lacquer. Protective colloid, a hide glue and dextrin, is added to crush said powder lacquer to spherical particles. Sodium sulphate is added to mix the mass, solvent is distilled from powder elements in compliance with the temperature of heat carrier fed into reactor jacket. Note here that heat carrier temperature is increased to 82-86°C to cure the mix. Some 70-75 wt % of solvent is distilled. Thereafter, heat carrier temperature is increased to 94-98°C to perform curing to mix temperature in reactor of 94-96°C. This invention allows the production of gun-cotton spherical powder for 7.64 mm-sporting round.
EFFECT: high bulk density low porosity, stable ballistic characteristics.
