FIELD: physics, control.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to remote control of railway transport. The remote control system comprises a remote control device for transmitting signals to a first controller module installed on a railway vehicle and configured to control the railway vehicle and monitor functions thereof. The first controller module is also configured to transmit information to the remote control device. The remote control system also includes a portable emergency switch which is independent of the remote control device, which is in communication with the first controller module in order to transmit thereto a stop signal, as well as an inclination detection device.
EFFECT: safer remote control of a railway vehicle and broader functional capabilities.
