FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to version of the method for conversion of coal and/or carbon-containing waste to liquid fuel, which lies in delivery to the reactor for electric pulse breaking of coal and/or carbon-containing waste, an organic solvent with the following ratio of coal and/or carbon-containing waste and organic solvent - 1:2 and water in quantity of, at least, 5 wt % of coal and/or carbon-containing waste, impact on the coal and/or carbon-containing waste, organic solvent and water placed into the reactor for electric pulse breaking by a high-voltage discharge, breakage of coal and/or carbon-containing waste in the environment of organic solvent and water thus receiving a coal-water organic mix, delivery of the mix to the reactor for electric pulse breaking, repeated breakage of coal and/or carbon-containing waste in the coal-water organic mix and extraction of liquefied fuel from the mix with broken coal and/or carbon-containing waste, at that the coal-water organic mix is passed through the input separating unit and ash separator. The following different types of high-voltage discharge are used: high-frequency high-voltage discharge, rectangular high-voltage discharge, direct-current high-voltage discharge, bipolar high-voltage discharge, rectangular bipolar high-voltage discharge. Additional hydrodynamic processing is made in several version of the method implementation.

EFFECT: receiving a higher grade of conversion for coal and/or carbon-containing waste.
