SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. The method of returning channel state information, which performs configuration of the same codebook space at the data transmission side and the data reception side; selection, by the data reception side from the codebook space, of a codeword corresponding to a channel, and transmission of an index number corresponding to the codeword to the data transmission side; and extraction, by the data transmission side according to the index number, of a corresponding codeword from locally configured codebook space in order to obtain channel state information.
EFFECT: returning channel state information with dual polarisation.
