SUBSTANCE: method for the terminal for transmitting the channel state information (CSI) in the wireless communication system comprises the steps of the report reporting mode for the four antenna ports: co-coding the rank indicator (RI indicator) and the first indicator of the precoding matrix (PMI indicator) into one encoding value; and transmitting channel state information containing the said encoding value, wherein if the indicator RI is 1, then the codebook index can have the same value as the said encoding value, and if the indicator RI is 2, the said codebook index may be less than the coding value mentioned at 8.
