SUBSTANCE: method for transmission of the channel status information (CSI) by a terminal in the wireless communication system comprises the stages as follows: sub-sampling the first codebook associated with the first indicator of the precoding matrix (PMI) and the second codebook associated with the second PMI indicator in accordance with the report message submode for 4-antenna ports and informing about the channel status based on the first sub-sampled codebook and the second codebook, wherein the first codebook index for the first PMI indicator can be determined as one of the values of 0, 4, 8 and 12, when the rank indicator (RI) is equal to 1 or 2, the second codebook index for the second PMI indicator can be determined as one of the values of 0, 2, 8, and 10 when the RI indicator is 1 and the second codebook index for the second PMI indicator can be determined as one of the values of 0, 1, 4 and 5, when the RI indicator is 2.
