A vehicle communication system may retrieve "in case of emergency" (ICE) information from a wireless communication device. The ICE information may include contact information, medical information, etc., and may be transferred to an emergency service provider, if the vehicle communication system makes an emergency call.
EFFECT: information may also be retrieved at a certain point in time before an emergency call is made and stored in a memory cell of the vehicle communication system.
