POLYNUCLEOTIDE, CODING ACYL-COA-SYNTHETASE HOMOLOGUE AND ITS APPLICATION Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC C12N15/09

Abstract RU 2528248 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, in particular to a protein, which has acyl-CoA-synthetase activity, obtained from a microorganism of genus Mortierella and to a polynucleotide, which codes the said protein. The invention also relates to an expression vector and a non-human transformant, containing the claimed polynucleotides, as well as to a method of obtaining a composition of lipids or fatty acids with an application of the said transformant.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the quantity of lipids or fatty acids, as well as to change the composition of produced fatty acids due to application of a novel gene.
