FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and operation of chimneys. Proposed method consists in mechanical removal of deposits from pipe surface and cleaning zone. Cleaning assembly is reeved in chimney with the help of crane and centred therein to make it displace up and down at the speed of 0.1 m/s for cleaning said chimney at rotation of metal brushes. Cleaning over, paint applicator is set at aforesaid assembly to spray the paint via atomisers for antirust coating application.
EFFECT: higher quality of antirust coating.
