FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: test bench comprises the following elements set on a frame: a movable slide in longitudinal guides, a cylinder being tested with its rod being connected to the slide, units to fix the liner and the rod of the cylinder, and a load-applying unit, a force measuring device set so that to interact with the above rod placed in the slide, a connector adapter installed in a roller support coaxial to the rod, and an additional load-applying unit coupled with the liner which is pivotally mounted on a holder fixed on the frame, a braking unit made as two bars with their ends being connected to the frame at the end of the slide travelling path through the axes and their other ends being spring-loaded at an angle to the frame by springs, friction pads fixed both on the bars and the frame, a shock absorber limiting the slide travelling, and elements to fix the cylinder rod which are made as a U-shape lever being pivotally coupled to the frame through two axes, two bushes set on the frame and interacting with the slide by sliders made so that they are able of interacting with the axes of the lever with horizontal grooves; the load-applying units are made as separate plates.
