FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry and can be used for tests of various designs of mechanical thermal compensators installed in wells. Test bench for mechanical thermal compensator comprises frame with longitudinal guides, movable carriage, movable along longitudinal guides and fixed on frame, two or more supports capable of displacement along longitudinal guides and fixation on the frame. Inner through cavity of the tested mechanical thermal compensator is tightly closed on the rod side by the rod plug connected through the force meter to the movable carriage, and from the cylinder side by the cylinder plug connected to the loading device installed on the frame. Supports provide coaxiality of the rod relative to the cylinder of the tested mechanical thermal compensator when the movable carriage of the rod moves at a different speed. Supports have possibility of fixing rod and cylinder relative to frame. Inner through cavity is connected through the supply channel in the plug of the rod to the hydraulic station providing filling of the inner through cavity with the liquid under pressure. Inner through cavity through channel of supply in plug of cylinder is interconnected with pneumatic station providing fluid displacement from through inner cavity by air under pressure. In the rod plug fluid drain channel is also connected from internal through cavity. In the cylinder plug the air discharge channel communicating with the pneumatic station is also made from the inner through cavity.

EFFECT: expansion of functional capabilities of the bench due to control of forces at movement with various speed of the stock in the cylinder of the mechanical thermal compensator, as well as performance of hydraulic and strength tests at various value of extension of the rod from the cylinder of the mechanical thermal compensator.
