FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: highly stable waveguide-resonance quasi-monochromatic X-ray radiation stream former relates to X-ray equipment. The waveguide-resonance quasi-monochromatic X-ray radiation stream former is an assembly mounted in a container and consisting of a first and a second flat reflector with a first and a second polished working surface, facing each other and having a gap in between them which is not greater than half the coherence length of the transmitted radiation on the entire length of said gap. The container is sealed and has sealed radioparent entrance and exit windows.

EFFECT: creating conditions which ensure invariance over time of radiation transmission efficiency of a waveguide-resonance X-ray radiation stream former.
