SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a light-emitting device and a method of making the said device. The light-emitting device comprises at least one mounting pad, a plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) mounted on said at least one mounting pad and configured to emit a specific light, and at least one integrated circuit mounted on said at least one mounting pad and configured to drive at least one of said plurality of LEDs, wherein the most temperature-sensitive LED is located between less temperature-sensitive LEDs and said at least one integrated circuit.
EFFECT: invention enables to protect temperature-sensitive LEDs in case of high temperature resulting, for example, from driving LEDs with a high current.
