SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the method of providing a reflecting coating (114) for the substrate (104) for light-emitting device (112), providing the following steps: providing (201) of the substrate (104), with first part of the surface (116) with the first material surface and the second part of the surface (106, 108) with the second material surface, different from the first material surface; application (202) of reflecting compounds made with possibility of connection to the said first material with formation of communication with the substrate (104) in the first part of the surface (116), that is stronger than the connection between the reflective coating and substrate (104) in the second part of the surface (106, 108); curing said reflecting compound to form a reflecting coating (114) having connection between the reflecting coating (114) and the substrate (104) in the first part of the surface (116); and the said substrate (104) undergoes machining with such intensity to remove the said reflecting coating (114) of the said second part of the surface (106, 108), While the said reflecting coating (114) remains on the said first part of the surface (116).

EFFECT: technical result is simplification of the process of depositing the reflecting coating.
