FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, in particular, to a device for removal of icicles from roofs of buildings. The device to remove icicles is fixed under the roof eave with conduits and water-collecting funnels. The device consists of a breaking organ attached to funnels and connected to a driving mechanism. The breaking organ comprises a U-shaped shaft with an elbow end in the area of icicles and straight sections. Sections are freely inserted into cross sections in funnels as capable of rotation. The driving mechanism of shaft rotation is made in the form of a bucket placed inside each funnel, filled by thawed water and a counterbalance in the form of a threaded rod and a nut.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability of a roof.
