FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of engines, particularly to piston ICEs. This invention consists in that after working stroke of piston 11 and its crossing of BDC combustion products are removed from combustion chamber 9 and cavity of cylinder 10 via exhaust opening 3. Piston upward stroke makes crankshaft turn through 180 degrees and rotor 4 turn through 30 degrees. Blade II gets to vertical position to divide the cylinder cavity cross-section into two equal parts at keeping on rotation to displace combustion products to opening 3. Piston 11 sucks fresh mix from intake opening 2 into cylinder at downward stroke. Piston at BDC, blade III overlaps opening 2 to disconnect it from cylinder cavity while blade III disconnect said cavity from opening 3. At piston upward stroke, fresh mix compression is initiated. Piston approaching TDC, mix is compressed in combustion chamber composed of blades II, III, surface of rotor 4 located between the latter and walls of cylinder 1. Compressed mix is ignited by spark plug to force the piston to make working stroke. Thereafter, engine operation cycle is repeated.
EFFECT: simplified design, higher reliability.
