FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of gasoline engines and diesel engines. Essence of invention consists in fact that during movement of pistons 3 of cylinders 1, 2 downwards in cylinder 1 expansion of combustion products takes place, and cylinder 2 piston suction through oxidant through channel 6 with open inlet valve 9. When pistons reach lower dead center valve 9 closes, and outlet valve 7 opens, allowing combustion products to exit cylinder 1 through channel 4. As a result, pistons movement upwards is accompanied by combustion products output from cylinder 1 and oxidizer compression in cylinder 2. At piston stroke of cylinder 1 to point corresponding to moment of ignition, bypass valve 8 is opened, as a result, compressed oxidant through channel 5 enters combustion chamber 10, wherein blowing of latter and removal of combustion products residues from it. After that, valve 7 is closed, compressed oxidizer continues to flow into combustion chamber, filling it. Pressure above pistons 3 is equalized, and valve 8 is closed. Further, liquid component is supplied under high pressure by injection device 11 and is technically ignited. Combustible mixture is burnt, the working stroke begins, during which pistons 3 move synchronously downwards. In the same way, the engine is operated in diesel mode.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of engine, reliability, operational and functional characteristics of engine, as well as simplification of its design.
