SUBSTANCE: multi-storey garage for cars comprises a building with a shaft in the centre, floor slabs with parking places, and also openings and ramps for lifting and lowering of cars, besides, ramps are connected by means of hinged joints with a horizontal axis of rotation with edges of openings in floor slabs with the possibility of tight closure of these openings, in the shaft at the levels corresponding to floor slabs, there are tier-to-tier slabs with openings, in walls of the shaft at the level of each tier there are door openings, closed by tight doors, inside the shaft there are facilities placed for movement of people in the shaft between tiers, at the same time on the first floor there is an evacuation corridor that communicates the lower tier of the shaft with the space outside the garage building.

EFFECT: provision of the possibility to confine fire source and safe evacuation of people from garage.
