FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building. A ball lock comprises working surface made as conical surface. Fitting bead and fitting flange are provided on a rod. A bush is fitted by a mating flange with a fitment hole and a lead-in chamfer, the mating flange is equipped by an adapter to mount the second unit. An insert with working surface being made as conical one is stationary fixed in the bush, inclination angle of the bush working surface exceeds the inclination angle of the rod working surface by 1÷12°. The bush is equipped by a handle with a grip head. Radial holes where closing balls are set are provided in a closing ring. The external mounting surface of the closing ring interacts with the internal mounting surface of the bush handle. Travelling arrester is made as at least two elements protruding over the surface of the closing ring. The closing ring is fitted by a handle with radial holes embracing the travelling arresters. The handle embraces the bush with a gap and is equipped by a grip head.

EFFECT: connection and disconnection of two units by hand gripping.
