FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: ball lock comprises rod secured to one of the objects, bushing provided with radial openings, inner face, and mounted on the other object, and locking ring and locking balls mounted in the radial openings and cooperating with the locking ring and rod. The working section of the rod is made, e.g., of a spherical head. The bushing is provided with a collar and two longitudinal grooves arranged from both sides of the collar and receives the locking insert that cooperates with the locking balls and rod and is spring loaded to the collar by means of a compression spring. The pin mounted in the first longitudinal groove is secured to the insert. The pusher is secured to the locking ring via the second pin mounted in the second longitudinal groove and mounted from the back side of the collar. The pusher is spring-loaded to the face of the bushing by means of a compression spring.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
