SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport. The system for alerting workers on railway lines at a station comprises a message generator, actuating devices for selecting a feeder line and selecting messages, two decoders, tonal signal and control signal generators and public-address amplifiers. The system also includes an analysing device connected to the hardware/software of a monitoring and management system and the display of the station operator's panel. The circuit of each public-address amplifier includes controlled switches, inputs of which are connected through isolating diodes to the output of the operator's control panel, and through resistors to the outputs of the actuating devices for selecting messages and selecting the feeder line. The message generator is connected to the operator's panel and through normally closed contacts of the first switch to the normally open contact of the second switch, through the normally closed contacts of which the output of the control signal generator is connected to the input of the public-address amplifier. The output of the tonal signal generator is connected to the normally open contact of the first switch.
