FIELD: transportation; information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of notification in rail transport. System includes an information and control center (ICC), a computing center, station information systems for passengers (SISP) and a transport network using the TCP / IP protocol. Moreover, ICC contains a passenger information management server, a collection server, a gateway, a secure gateway node, an automated workplace for station announcers, AWP of the central dispatcher, including intercom and calling device and hardware-software devices for monitoring the operation of passenger station information systems, hardware and software for the automated workplace of the monitoring and administration system operator. Each SISP includes a station information server, an AWP of the station duty officer, including a control and communications console and information board, transmitting amplifiers, feeder lines for informing and alerting passengers, information boards and emergency call stations, induction loops, signaling device for civil defense and emergency situations, fire alarm and evacuation control server, call and call feedback devices. Computing centre includes a central station information server with a database.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of passenger information services is being achieved.
