FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a polymer composition for radiation protection of electronic devices, which contains a polymer binder, lithium and boron as shielding filling agents, which can be used to produce protective materials for biological protection, as shady shielding for nuclear power plants and equipment of nuclear-hazardous facilities. The disclosed composition contains as binder polypropylene and/or polyethylene, lithium and boron in a lithium borohydride compound which is encapsulated with the following ratio of ingredients, wt %: powdered shielding filler - lithium borohydride - not more than 5; polyethylene and/or polypropylene - the balance.
EFFECT: disclosed composition has high efficiency of radiation-protective properties and reduced formation of gamma quanta.
