FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: drilling tool comprises a housing with openings for hard-alloy inserts, consisting of a cylindrical shank, a working head and the assembly of fixing of the insert with the housing. Each assembly of fixing is formed by the ledge made on the end of the shank, and the side walls of the groove, made in the bottom of the housing opening. The ledge on the end of the shank and the groove in the bottom of the opening are made in the form of a torus part which axis is perpendicular to the axis of the shank. The ledge on the end of the shank and the groove in the bottom of the opening in cross-section have the form of a wedge. The side surfaces of the ledge on the end of the shank in the longitudinal section have a sawtooth configuration.

EFFECT: simplification of manufacturing technology of drilling tool, improving the reliability of fastening of inserts.
